We love to teach
the fine "Art of Barbecue"
Some of the most fun we
have during the warmer months is teaching people up here in the
Northeast about true Barbecue. We have been teaching barbecue
classes with the New England Barbcue Society for years. Most
recently at The Barbecue Championship of New England at the Harpoon
Brewery in Winsor VT. The classes focus on choosing quality meats,
cutting, trimming, rubbing and cooking what ever types of meat you
choose. We also like to spend a bit of time on how to "build" a good
dry rub, and sauce. We also go over basic safe food handling
procedures. Lastly we carve the cooked meats and serve them to the
"students" with some sides,as a grand feast finale! Contact us to
discuss pricing and options for your group lesson. Format can vary
from students bringing their own cooking rigs, or hands on cooking,
or basic demonstration style. We will try our best to accommodate
your wishes.
